Studio Brainchild
We build products. Not just software.
From early idea to launch, we help shape what gets built, then make it real.
We start with the opportunity.
Founders don't come to Studio Brainchild to buy development hours. They come to realize an idea, and that's a different job.
Studio Brainchild works with founders, creators, and domain experts who have something real: deep expertise, an audience, a business, intellectual property, or simply a way of seeing a problem that others don’t. What they don’t always have is the product or technical foundation to turn it into something scalable.
Usually the gap isn't ideas. It's knowing what should actually be built, what matters first, what can wait, and how to carry it from a rough concept to something people actually use.
That's the part we do first, before any code gets written.
And that judgment comes from having actually done it: shipped products across mobile, connected TV, and web, under real constraints, for teams ranging from three-person startups to platforms reaching millions of users. Knowing what a build actually takes to get right, what breaks at scale, what founders get wrong early: that's the real product here.
Anyone can write the code. Few know what to build.
We work upstream
In the room before the spec, shaping what gets built and why. Early conversations are often more strategic than technical.
We take responsibility
We don't hand off a document and disappear. We stay attached through architecture, build, and launch.
Engagements aren't one size
Defined builds when the work is clear. Deeper product partnerships, including shared upside, when the opportunity warrants it.
We keep judgment close
The judgment that shapes an engagement at the start stays involved through execution. Specialists join without replacing ownership.
Not every engagement looks the same, and that's intentional
At one end, it's a defined build: a mobile app, a TV platform, a web product, scoped and delivered. Straightforward, well-understood work, done well.
At the other end are the engagements we're most interested in: opportunities where Studio Brainchild becomes a genuine product partner rather than simply delivering the software underneath the business. When the alignment and opportunity warrant it, those relationships can include shared upside alongside traditional compensation.
The structure depends on the opportunity. The principle doesn't. We'd rather align around creating value than simply selling more hours.
We don't measure the value of an engagement by how many development hours it consumes. The point is getting the right product into the market.
Senior judgment stays attached
Studio Brainchild is intentionally founder-led. The product and technical judgment that shapes an engagement at the beginning doesn't disappear once the work moves into execution.
As a product grows, we bring in the specialists it needs without replacing senior ownership with layers of account management. You stay close to the people making the decisions and the people responsible for getting the product into the market.
If you've got something worth building and you're not sure yet what that actually looks like, that's usually the right time to talk.
